Living in Truth

Numbers 23:19 19God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good? When God says something there are no circumstances that can prevent Him from carrying out His Word. He can overcome any circumstance that threatens to intervene between what He says and the outcome, that’s why we must never doubt God. The greatest insult to God is to doubt His Word. God put Adam and Eve in a system not only of command but a system of truth, so everything about us should be true. Jesus Christ calls Himself the way, the truth because everything about Him is true. We are to live like that through the indwelling power of Jesus Christ, brought to us by the Holy Spirit working through the Word.

Righteousness is right doing, sin is wrongdoing but there’s one standard that determines what’s right or what’s wrong and that’s a law of God. Let me say that again, there is only one standard of right and wrong and that is the law of God.
