Who is Your God

Who is your God? Your God is the person whose commands, you obey. Your God is the one who tells you what to do and you do it. Your God is not the person you say you love. Everybody loves Jesus Christ. Your God, is not the person you say you love. Your God and my God is the person or the thing that directs and commands our lives. There are some people who say the God of heaven and earth is their God, but their lives are directed by their career. You don’t see them at church, they don’t study the bible, they hardly pray, they couldn’t defend the basic doctrines of the church to which they belong. They’re not preparing for the second coming of Christ, yet they all, they love to say I love Jesus. God is my God, but all the efforts, all their resources, all their time or the sacrifices is in the direction of something or someone other than God. Your God and my God is not the person we say we love, your God and my God is the person or the thing that drives our lives and commands us and we obey.

Why Are You Troubled?

All our anxiety arises from our lack of faith in the Word of God. We will not take God at His Word.

Luke 24:36-39, 36And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 37But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. The Peace of Christ removes the need for Him to ask, why are you troubled? The question becomes what is it about Christ that should terrify a person who claims to be a disciple? How is it possible that the real Christ appears to us and we conclude we’re seeing a ghost? Tonight we explore the answer to all these questions under the umbrella of God has answers.

A tsunami warning

Every person on the face of the earth is a tsunami, it can be good or it can be bad. You have one of two options, your presence on this earth can be the reason why some people go to hell or heaven. Let the tsunami of your influence wash people to Jesus. Every course of action has a two-fold character and importance it is virtuous or vicious, right or wrong, according to the motive which prompts it. A wrong action by frequent repetition, leaves a permanent mark upon the mind of the actor and also on the minds of those that are connected with him in any relation at the spiritual or temporal. The society of unbelievers will do us no harm if we mingle with them for the purpose of connecting them with God, and are strong enough spiritually to withstand their influence.
